Do yourself a favor and stay away from this property. The management is extremely unprofessional and have zero respect for tenants and their needs. Coming from out of state, I rented a unit for $2000 and was handed keys to a unit with moldy, wet cabinets, unwashed carpets, stained vanity tops, chipped off mirror, stained bedroom windows and walls. During the second week the ceiling in the Kitchen started leaking and I had to call fire department. The management knows nothing about accommodation! They offered to transfer me to another unit which was not the same floor plan as my unit and I accepted not knowing accommodation to Verandas means go through the trouble of getting all your belongings from one unit to another and pay about $230 extra per months in rent! Way to go Verandas!

The location is great and the leasing/maintenance staff are extremely friendly; they made the initial leasing/move-in process quite easy, which was much appreciated. Living here, however, has been a frustrating experience. With continued scaling back of certain services/amenities (i.e. no mailboxes for about 4 months, no notifications from the office if packages are delivered), and the property being a constant construction zone with 'upgrades' to the façade, it's apparent the property management company is more focused on maximizing their profits than providing it's residents with peace of mind and a comfortable living environment. If my experience living here gets better, I'll absolutely come back and update this, but as of right now this isn't a location I'd recommend.

Beautiful apartments but horrible management and owners. The people who run this place are horrible. Things broken in the apartment for MONTHS while waiting for maintenance to come around. They always give notice for entry to come look at something or do an inspection but NEVER come, leaving you inconvenienced because you think they’re going to come inside your home but never do. They have been replacing the decks for MONTHS now and it’s been the most horrible process. They started at the front, haven’t even finished those buildings as they still have wood covering their glass doors, started on another building and make tons of noise all day but seemingly NO progress on the decks. It’s been constant construction. I get very little sleep because at 8am every morning I’m woken up by workers BANGING right outside my window. I have had constant migraines from this. The weekends are my only good sleep days. The little deck project is so horrible. A nightmare. These workers just bang on the walls all day, nothing gets done. It’s infuriating. The old decks were fine anyway, they were concrete and they’re replacing with wood, but it’s because this place LOVES hiking up the rent multiple times a year, so the decks were an excuse to do so, along with the fact that replacing them with wood makes them more likely to need replacing again in the years to come, resulting in this place doing what they do best, inconveniencing tenants and charging them as much as possible!!!

I really enjoyed my 1 bedroom unit. The floor plan was great because there weren't a lot of common walls. I had very nice appliances and countertops. The hard floors were great too. The downside was that it was very noisy. They were constantly doing construction during the year and a half that I lived there. Replacing the roof, replacing the siding, painting, replacing the balconies, redoing sidewalks. It was just constant noise all the time. With that being said though the complex was very well maintained and clean. I did have some issues with noisey downstairs neighbors and their bass music. The walls and floors are thin so you will hear your neighbors. The office staff are great though and did resolve the issue with the bass music thank goodness. There is no valet trash which was inconvenient with only one dumpster in the large complex. I had to drive my trash to it. I was very happy with the move out process. They didn't keep much of my deposit and I definitely felt the amount they kept was fair. I would definitely live here again if I needed to.
