This bookstore is amazing. I don't come here enough. I used to come here more when i worked nearby. The staff is always super knowledgeable and helpful. Their selection of used and new books is uncommon in the general Vancouver area. The use of space and how they display the books is done very well. Also there is a cat randomly walking around, which I always appreciate.

Holy cow this place has so many books! There are tons of old books and sets. I could have spent all day here just looking through all of the different sections. Super interesting place and nice people!

It's a cute place. It just felt a bit uncomfortable when a book I was interested in still had a Goodwill price sticker on it for $3.99 but they marked it up to $7. When I asked about the price, the lady muttered completely ignoring my question how she hates these stickers and they're so hard to take off as she started pulling and rubbing it off in front of me. I mean, I know they have a business and need to make some profit but maybe remove it before putting it out on the shelf? Seems a little unprofessional and awkward.

A really cool place to stop if your looking for a good book to read. They really do have a lil bit of everything. I even seen a book from the 1700’s so that was really cool. Definitely a place I’ll come back to buy an old book!

They have the door locked and you have to knock to get in. This is to limit how many people are allowed in. When they let you in, you have to wear a mask and sanitize your hands. They have protective plexiglass between you and them when checking out.
Yes they have large print but its a good idea to call ahead to make sure they have the book you're looking for in stock. If its still in print they are usually able to order it for you.
They will be closed for the holiday
According to the website you can order it through them, but it isn't listed as being in-store. If you call the store, an employee will probably be able to tell you if they have a copy available.

They buy do buy used books, I would recommend coming with a few books you would like to get rid of because they might not take the book.
Yes, they do buy books from their customers. I would bring in a box of books for them to look through so they can choose which books they want to keep. They have an internet system now with credits so you can get money back to buy books in the future.
Well they have a large selection of both new and used books. You can pretty much find anything currently popular or on the best seller lists. It is their eclectic collection of used books, however, that keeps me coming back. And the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. If you can't find what you're looking for, they can help you locate it, or if they don't have it, they will get it for you.
