This was an awesome find in North Myrtle Beach. It was close by so we were able to walk to and we also did not have to wait long to be seated. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the food was amazing. I would highly recommend stopping in here if you're ever in town. We may have to go again.

Went here because I wanted seafood (well, scallops specifically) and it was rated so high on Google. We almost didn't go in because there was a line for lunch on Saturday at 1pm. But, we decided to wait and glad we did. The line moved quickly and it was shaded. Service was quick even though the server immediately told us it would be a minute before she got to us. It wasn't that long at all. I had the pick two seafood platter, got broiled flounder and scallops. My boyfriend got the fried flounder filet. Kids got seafood platters and chicken tenders. I got the large platter so I would have leftovers for dinner. Everything was great! I believe it was one of the owners that came around and asked if everything was good and pointed out the homemade tarter and cocktail sauces on the table. I tried both and they were great. The place has a "diner" feel and website says they have been around since 1948 and family owned. You can feel this vibe here, and everyone was super friendly. The place was packed the whole time we were there! The line had dissapated by the time we left but that's probably because they close at 2:30 and reopen for dinner at 4:30. Glad we decided to stop here and would recommend this place if you are looking for a low key place with seafood and options for people who don't like seafood.

We were looking for a seafood restaurant around Myrtle Beach similar to the Seafood Hut in Calabash because we didn’t feel like making the drive so we tried Hoskins based on a recommendation from a friend. We don’t eat a lot at one time so a buffet was out of the question. We just wanted a plate of fried seafood. Our dinner was pretty good and we would definitely go back. My husband had the small seafood platter which he thoroughly enjoyed, it came with scallops, oysters, crab cake, shrimp and flounder. I had a large flounder plate which came with 2 big pieces of flounder and a lot of nice size shrimp. The sweet potato fries came out good and hot. We had a pice of coconut cream pie and tea for $58.

The best place we went all vacation and sadly we went on our last day and couldn’t go twice. I would literally eat here everyday if I lived in SC. Best service, these older ladies just coming around constantly filling some bomb a$$ sweet tea, i don’t even think my tea got half way empty. The hospitality was like I was a regular and was treated like I’ve been known for years. It should’ve been illegal how good that chicken was for that price and don’t even get me started on that crispy but tender chicken, best i’ve had in all my years of breathing. THE MAC AND CHEESE WAS BAKED AND AMAZING! I wanna shake the hand of the person who made everything, literally everything, from the sweet tea to key lime pie at the end. I can’t even with this place, you literally cannot go wrong. I’d bow down to whoever made that fire chicken! Please please please go there if you ever visit, best priced food with the best quality like dam. Anyways loved it, 12/10.
