Beef bowl arrived too late to get steak. Reminded me of Yoshinoya beef bowl which was a staple for me when I first attended uni back in the day.

My family and I have been eating here since the mid-2000s, it's definitely one of our favorite (if not our favorite) places to get Japanese food here in Vancouver. Appetizers are pretty cheap and good. The vegetable tempura, especially the onion rings, are satisfying here. Also, I generally don't like gyoza that much, but it's super tasty here. Even the main dishes are good, I usually get the beef teriyaki and would highly recommend it, full of savory flavor.
