Very dismissive, uninterested in helping us find what we were looking for. Claimed they didn't have a whiskey in stock despite the OLCC showing inventory. The store felt cheap and dingy, which I wouldn't normally mention but when the service is this poor it sticks in your mind. We asked for a specific brand of rye, and both men working, separately, vaguely waved at a shelf saying 'this is where the rye is' and walked away. When we mentioned the OLCC inventory, one employee claimed it was probably 'in back, for the bars, since we sell to the bars first' and walked away again. They definitely didn't have even the slightest interest in helping us find anything, an alternative suggestion, or check 'in the back'...nothing. When one of us finally spotted the whiskey we had come for, and we went to check out, both women were asked for ID but I was not - I offered it up anyway because he made it so awkward. Both employees were old white men, I'm a middle aged white man, and I was with 2 women. Throughout our interactions, both employees clearly disregarded both women and were exceptionally dismissive, but deferential to me, although I was not the person asking about the product, nor purchasing. Pretty bad experience in every way. We'll never be back despite the convenient location and decent selection of whiskeys.

I came to Rose City Liquors tonight and was helped by a sweet young man with dreads. He said it was his second day on the job but he helped me find the obscure thing I was looking for. He was charming and kind and really made me want to come back, even if this store is kind of out of the way for me. The store itself is great with a wide selection and great location. I'll definitely be coming back!

Update 2-1-19 🍹🍹🍹🍹🍹 Still great as always Five Star All The Way nice people they treat you like human beings I come in there most of the time in my slippers and pajamas LOL and at the very last second and they still treat me like the most decent human being I can appreciate that that's why I continue to go here and I love that they're open till 10 and now open on Saturdays and Sundays or whatever so it's a great place ,, @impulseprintcompany Have always had a great appreciation for this store I showed up one minute before they closed and of course I forgot my ID and they still let me purchase liquor because of course I'm differently well over the age of 21 and that's the way it should be unlike other places they always check ID and this place usually does as well but they scene I was 21 which I'm actually 34 and still let me purchase which I have a appreciated they were definitely nice and help me quickly get through and on my way I highly recommend this place!
