I love the train, and I love the station. It is clean, well ordered and everyone who works there is generally friendly. But one employee, who has been there for years is such a righteous pain in the ass that I nearly always prefer some other mode of transport. She used to work morning shifts, but I found her tonight as I got off the 9:30 arrival to Bellingham. She hassled me about my claim ticket to pick up my backpack on the golf cart on a mostly deserted platform. She loves referencing airline security in her execution of duties, but she's flatly wrong. I don't have to produce proof to pick my bag off a carousel at an airport unless there's a dispute or something irregular. We are reasonable passengers in Bellingham and we deserve more normal treatment at the train station, for God's sake. This is not an isolated event. The employee in question has been harassing travellers for years.

This is not an isolated incident. One train attendant (not sure what the PC name is) yelled at my boyfriend for not being there on time earlier today. Dude. We were early. He had a bike to store in the luggage cart, yes. But like I said, we were on time and the staff (?) crew (?) treated him like an idiot for not hustling his bike on. AND, like I said, not the first time. So completely and utterly unprofessional. Thumbs down. It's the bus from now on. Jerks.

I will need to leave my car at the station overnight. Is there a fee for this, and if so, how much per night?
When I was there approximately two months ago it was cash only, exact change and no receipt was given. The payment method was really old school. You park take note of your stall number walk over to the larger metal box (which can only be described as an upright cash box) place folded bills one at a time into corresponding numbered slot to your parking stall. If You are staying 2 days put in $12 ect.. Be careful to but the money in the correct slot, there is no way to get it out if you make a mistake. Hope this is helpful.
No there is not, however there are Uber's, Lyft's and buses available.
I believe that it's a generic ATM that's unaffiliated with any particular bank. I'm sure that your card will work.
Yes, I think so.
Long-term Parking is located across the street from the train station (at the corner of 4th and Harris).
