Bought 3 Pistols the other day and they had a very nice selection well priced. Also ammo wasn’t bad

Came in ready to spend money on a firearm, girl behind the counter couldn't even be bothered to get off her cell phone to see if I needed anything. Usually I get much better service at either of the locations I frequent. I hope this was a fluke

Monroe Pawn Fathers - I walk in to check out some used guitar pedals, and find a piece of gear of mine that was taken months ago. A specialized automatic guitar tuner which few people even have. I ask to see it. Open up the digital menu and see my instrument lists, and it syncs right to my device. Hmmm. Ask how long he has had it. Says six months. Right when mine was taken. Tell him the presets, show him the app on my phone, and that the device instantly syncs to it. Says file a police report but it could take forever. Also back tracks on the fact that it wasn’t 6 months ago, but just a few weeks. Says there’s a date in the tag that proves it and there are no serial numbers. There is a serial number in the menu, which is registered to me. Trying to be nice and work something out, I offered $10 over whatever they paid for it. He declined. Said I cannot prove it. I agreed to a price just to get it over with. Friend of mine goes in today to pick it up as a surprise for me and when he gave it to me, they tried to wipe the device, and tried to even get him to just pay cash. They knew it was stolen, was holding it for me to come get it and sold it for less than they offered me to just get rid of it. Don’t give your business to this place. They obviously have shady business practices.

Not only a great pawn shop that will actually give u a reasonable loan for an item but like many pawn shops they are a licensed and registered FFL. They sell used firearms like most pawn shops but they also have an inventory of brand new firearms mostly handguns and also sell ammo and at an amazing price, in fact their ammo is cheaper than most sporting good stores. Before corona virus they had every caliber i needed in stock but like every other store they have a very low selection and have also had to raise the msrp to meet supply and demand. This being said they do get new shipments in but they almost instantly fly off the shelf. They also have a good selection of holsters and target supplies. In my opinion Pawn Fathers is the best pawn shop I have ever dealt with and that includes the Everett store which is much bigger and usually has allot of ammo in stock. And they have great customer service something that is hard to experience in the pawn shop industry.
