Good service. But the food was blah and very small portions for the price. Our toast was burnt and then they didn't butter it until it was cold. Pancakes overcooked and hard. I got the French dip it was like 16 bucks. Very small French dip and a very small portion of fries that were all very overcooked. Well over 100 bucks for my family to eat there and the food just want even close to worth it. Not many options for food in this area. Will just go to Longview now.

I had the chicken fried steak dinner..Super gross. Chicken fried steak was paper thin, gravy definitely from a package with gross sausage mixed in..Mashed potatoes are instant..Bread pudding also nasty..I wanted to throw up after eating half of it..The waitress is very nice so I did leave a tip. But I definitely won't be going back again..

We visited Peper's 49er restaurant, in Castle Rock for the first time. What impressed me most, is that they make almost everything from scratch (even desserts), which is extremely rare for this area. The facility was very clean and well lit. The decor was pleasant and nicely done. We had breakfast, which included the homemade Chicken Fried Steak & eggs with homemade country gravy. It's was really good! As for the portion sizes, they give you plenty enough to make sure you don't leave hungry. In other words, you get lots! The eggs were cooked perfectly, and the Sausage links were to die for! Serious compliments to the Chef for all of your hard work! It's very much appreciated and not going unnoticed. Oh, btw...the coffee is reeeeal good! We can't wait to go back again to try something else. I'm sure it'll be great! The service was prompt & friendly. Our waitress was nice & very attentive, which we really appreciated!

Just left with a full tummy, and a dessert to go!! Prices are well worth the deliciousness you are served here by the lovely and attentive staff. Never been here before, but travel from Seattle to Springfield Oregon quite a bit and now we have a place to get good food on the road. Thank you to our server(sorry her name escapes me) and to all the friendly staff❤️
