This is my review. My opinion. The person that prepared my taxes was very kind, respectful and professional. But I do not base my reviews solely on the people, I base it on everything. My biggest issue was the cost. The total fees I was charged was $633.95 filing head of household with a family of 3. This was my first time with Jackson Hewitt, I have previously went to H&R Block. One of the first things I said to them, before they started preparing my taxes, was that I was coming there instead of H&R Block because I didn't want to spend $424 in fees again to get my taxes done. They have prepared taxes long enough to know that my fees were going to be more than $424 before they did them, but they said nothing. They said nothing til after they completed filing them. They should have informed me that it would cost me way more than $424 immediately. I was there for 30 to 35 minutes and it cost me $633.95. If your ok with a huge chunk of your return being taken in fees then go there, but if your not then I suggest you go somewhere else.

I've been going to Jessica for my tax needs for years. When she switched offices I made sure to follow her, I won't even let anyone else schedule my appointment. She always goes above and beyond to make sure I'm taken care of. She's always friendly and professional. I think the only thing that could make it better is if she could offer me a beer instead of coffee! I hope Jackson Hewitt realizes the rock star that she is!
