I feel like PGE abandoned me at a time I needed them the most. They have been completely unhelpful. As a company that I rely on for a very essential function for my home it’s sad to feel so unsupported. I just talked to a few electricians and contractors that have done utility work for PGE in the past, and they all said that PGE is making me do extra things that are not really required. They are all telling me that the inspector may have a personal vendetta against me. I’ve asked to get my inspector changed out and PGE refused. Its been so frustrating dealing with this. I am making this review, hoping someone that works at PGE can show me a little mercy and reach out for help.

Absolute garbage company. Like most public utilities, they enjoy a monopoly so there's no true recourse and thus no incentive for this company be any more than bare minimal garbage. Their response times in rural areas during power outages are nothing less than abysmal. The dispatch personnel either don't know or cant disclose the status of power restoration and they give the standard company line. Or they lie outright. If I had money for every time us (or neighbors) were told "crews are on site," I could buy my own reactor... I have a sneaking suspicion that, especially during holidays, the line crews deliberately work at a snail's pace to restore power so they can bank that extra overtime. Why fix a line in an hour or two when you can can get paid for 12 hours? It's not like we can do anything about it...

Very good experience with customer service representative Paola. She was knowledgeable, professional and very helpful. She answered all my questions and gave some helpful information about how to navigate their online services.

They are great Sometimes but what kind of people turn power off in mid dec when its freezing temperatures out and I've been a customer for 19 years and have 6 children with a 2 year old! I asked for 1 extra day to figure it out, they said no! I found out at 4pm the night before! 1 hr to search for help! Ridiculous! One day is all I asked for!!!
