Praying everyone gives themselves the opportunity to experience God's great Love here at Eastside!!

We went to Eastside Christian Church for their Harvest ice and my children had a blast they got tons of candy, to play lots of games, jump in the bouncy houses, and eat some free food. The people there were very kind and welcoming, I even ran into my old soccer coach Murph Murphy who is also working a booth. Thank you you side for contributing to the community

Pros: Pastor Rehmel is a super nice guy, and a HUGE Johnny Cash fan. That being said, the sermons that I've heard him preach are fairly entertaining and often are engaging and stick to the word of God with a bit of flavor. People are fairly nice and the cafe is a decent addition to the church as well. There are a few activities which are planned here and there. The environment itself is rather relaxed, though maybe too much at times. Great worship music led by brother Brock with many sorts of variety. Lots of Cincinnati Bengals fans, and the dress code is also relaxed. On the other hand, I believe Brother Rehmel is spread quite thin of having the duty of working with more than 200 members within the large congregation. It's nice that they have a prayer table for prayers and all, but I think it would be an excellent idea if a fairly large prayer team of 30 or more individuals who are willing to pray with others in the church whether it's before, during , or after each of the two services were established. There are people within the congregation that go to these churches not only to fellowship, but to seek the spiritual and emotional support that's needed. In my opinion, what makes or breaks a church is a supportive prayer team. If Moses can appoint 70 elders to help guide their large crew in the Old Testament, then I'd say Eastside is more than capable of generating a decent prayer team. Bottom line; Still a decent church to attend if you're new to the area of Ohio.

We love this church because they follow God's message very simply, love God, love people. The praise music is exciting and better than anywhere I have been before, and the message is straight from the Bible. People that don't typically like church love Eastside because all are welcome and loved, and the people are real.

Jesus’ teaching in Luke 6 is helpful to understand our billboard... John 3:16-17 is as well... our hope is that Christians will focus on showing others God’s love through the gift of His Son Jesus - which once someone truly experiences Him, they - out of the desire of their own heart - will recognize the areas of their life where they fall short of God’s glory and turn their life over to Him. Hope that helps clarify what we are saying... May God bless you and keep you!
Eastside Christian Church is housed in a former movie theater. But the church has been around for 180 years. It was formally called Mulbery Church of Christ.
