While visiting a friend who lives The Province, I spoke with an employee named Emily. She was extremely personable, and I was impressed by her kindness. From what I saw and from what my friend told me, this building is not only a terrific place to live but it also has extremely nice and helpful staff members!

Parking is a disaster. They don't plow the parking lot roads, spaces, or sidewalks at all. If you are able to find a space, good luck getting your car into it as it is full of deep snow. I shouldn't have to plow the parking lot myself in an apartment complex where I pay $1000+ per month rent. To make things even more insulting to residents, they send passive aggressive emails ahead of forecasted snow about where to park so they can "remove snow." News flash- they won't touch the parking lot for at least a week after most of the snow melts, if it is touched at all. And when they do "remove snow" it's just some guy in a pickup that drives around playing with the plow. Complete joke. The photos attached are of deep snow in the lot THREE WHOLE DAYS after a snow event.

Worst apartment to possibly live at in kent. My entire time here has been horrible. I was placed in an apartment where someone has been living there for a year and they were not cleaning the apartment. The walls were disgusting, there are food stains on the ceilings, the floors were disgustingly sticky. My “nice” province room that they promised and promoted had marijuana on the floor, the toilet seat was broken, and the closet door was broken as well, to which they then charged me a damage fee. The apartment was horrible disgusting moving in, I went to the leasing office countless times to alert them on these issues. They’ve been telling me for months that they would bring a cleaning crew to help with the issues. It’s has been four months. They have yet to send a cleaning crew. They only say that to keep their tenants calm. There is only so much self cleaning can do. After giving the apartment a deep clean, there was glass and rotten food all over the apartment. They just threw me into a disgusting apartment like this while everyone else got a fresh clean one. I have talked to others who live there just to make sure. I was not living there before I moved in. So the glass, rotten food, marijuana, broken closet door and toilet seat should not have been my responsibility, but it was left to be. Would not recommend this to anyone. Worst experience ever.

The Province at Kent was a great place to live well attending Kent State. Best part is it was very close to classes, has friendly office staff, and of course within walking distance to downtown. The Maintenance team truly helped with any issue that we had. Also when it came to reviewing our options for renewing our lease Hannah was able to explain and answer every question we had. I truly appreciate the time that was taken to follow up with all of us to make sure we understood the whole process.
