After almost 1 month of living here I’m going to share my experience already. So before even moving back We called many places on the west side of Akron to see who was available one was this place which was already hard to contact, nobody answered the phone for days before we finally reached the leasing agent so red flag number 1. When we finally got ahold of her she was nice so we gave it a chance despite the reviews being awful but almost all reviews for apartments in Akron was bad and this was the only one available at the time we needed. So we told her we were military and coming from VA she offered to do a FaceTime walkthrough which the apartment looked decent and clean. She said we would get a military discount which is less than what their website says ( and no she would not honor what the website said ) anyways we get back to Akron finally to sign our lease and she shows us the apartment in person & we had 48 hours to let her know what was wrong if anything. From walking in our building the smell is awful because nobody has cleaned the hallways, they have not updated these apartments since they’ve been built. I had to clean every wall from them being so dirty and something yellowish dripping down every wall in the apartment, the baseboards were very dirty, the appliances had crumbs in them, the kitchen “ island “ isn’t even connected from the countertop to the base. The toilet was dirty, I used my carpet cleaner to clean the carpet just because I do that before moving our furniture in and it was so much dirt and pet hair left in every room, even dog hair was stuck to the walls. Our balcony had dog poop on it and we were told to just sweep it off. Just about every part of this apartment was disgusting. Only part I like is location, apartments come with cable and WiFi, parking isn’t bad and we can’t hear our neighbors at all inside the apartment ( top floor ) but try not to move here is my advise & fitness “ center “ sucks. Also to add, before moving in we asked about any leaking ceilings ( because of reviews) so we’ve had some heavier rain recently and although the ceiling isn’t leaking YET you can see the huge stains created on the ceiling and walls from it raining.

The laundry room continues to be a problem. It’s often dirty and trashed. The trash bins are overloaded. The property has trees and bushes chopped up, and then the brush, flowers and branches are left on the ground and never picked up. It’s hard to feel good about where you live if it looks like a dump. I won’t be staying here after my lease. It’s not worth it. The place needs to get cleaned up.

If you are intending to rent this place, please give a few seconds and read some reviews here, I am pretty sure you will change your decision, you can understand how bad management just reading their replies to reviews I lived in this terrible place one year and it was the worst experience in my life, I don’t know where to start 1- Maintenance: The team is rude and unprofessional, irresponsible, they don’t care how the issues are urgent. Our refrigerator didn’t work for 2 months, I had sent several notifications about that but they fix it at the end of the 2nd month. Our dishwasher also didn’t work for one month, they just ignoring you. They try to enter your home without asking any permission, you feel unsafe, terrible, terrible, terrible Our bathroom was leaking to lower stair for 15 days and they didn’t do anything 2- Management: They usually smoke in front of the apartment, they are also a group of irresponsible people. You will never reach the leasing office if you are lucky enough you may reach the end of the 10th call. They will never call you back. If your phone number is not saved in their system they answer your call, otherwise, they know you are a resident and just ignoring you 3- Security deposit: As expected from this irresponsible management, they just want to extort your money. They bill you overpriced and unrealistic things. They don’t define anything as wear and tear, they see everything as they want, they just want your money and more Stay away from this complex, this will be the wrongest decision in your life, stay away!

The worst place you can live in. If you have kids, I wouldn't recommend this place. It has lots of bed bugs and roaches. The staff here are not polite with residents and the maintenance do not tend to request on time, even if it is a emergency. The managment for sure will not return your deposit. Other issues include 1. Roofs caving in and crashing. 2. Water leaks into the room 3. Walkway lights won't work. 4. Staircase leading downstairs has very bad smell. There is no occasional cleaning too. 5. Bugs and roaches
