I contacted their office on a Friday morning, requesting to view a house on Sunday afternoon. I was told by their broker, Dawn, that she would have an agent contact me. I hadn't heard anything by Saturday morning, so I called Dawn back, and she told me that Jill would be reaching out to me. Jill never contacted me, and I ended up scrambling to find another agency that would show me a house that day. So unprofessional, I will not be using the services of John L. Scott in the future.

I had a very nice experience. My Realtor was Dawn Pannell. She was kind , informative, and helped me through selling my Mom's house. I would go to her again.

Many people think that it's not possible to buy a home. With having an amazing lender who can tell them what they would qualify for, and an amazing Realtor, you can't lose! Reach out if you would like to find out more!
The first step in any home purchase is to get connected with a trusted lender. You will need to have funds reserved for: Earnest money, home inspection, appraisal fee, and any downpayment funds. Starting the home purchase journey can be filled with anxiety and excitement. Make sure to work with an experienced broker who can guide you through every step.
Earnest money is different than a downpayment. Earnest money demonstrates that you are serious about purchasing the home. Typically this is from 1%-2% of the homes selling price.
If you buy a new home before selling you could find yourself financially strapped. On the other hand, if you sell before closing on your new one you'll need to find another place to live in the interim. It is possible to sell and buy simultaneously through whats called and sale contingency. For additional information, please reach out to our office to be connected to a broker.
A sellers market occurs when the demand for homes out paces the available supply. One handy way to determine exactly when the market enters the "sellers" phase is when the ratio of sales to listings hits 55-60%, or 3 sales for 5 listings.
In a buyers market, economic conditions tend to favor the home buyer over the seller. Those conditions are the opposite of what happens in a sellers market. In a buyers market, for example, fewer people are buying homes which puts the onus on sellers to reduce prices.
