Coming to the Chalet never gets old, been passing thru here doing railroad work for ten years good to see Phil, Ray and the staff, just good down home family atmosphere.

Stopped here for breakfast on the way to Crater Lake. We were a party of four. We all ended up having omelettes. Great choice of omelettes on the menu. Came with toast and hash browns. Was a great breakfast, with good portion size. Decent coffee with plenty of refills and a small jug of cream!! Such a simple thing but game changer, hate those pesky little plastic tubs.

Chelsea the waitress was very friendly and efficient. Phil was on the grill he's from the Mill. ( I read that on a wooden plaque. ) Phil made me a delicious Reuben sandwich,oh, and I had a Budweiser. Phil came out and we had a nice chat about the history of the building etc.It was the perfect stop for a respite on my trip to Klamath Falls from Vancouver. I will do it again. I will have to visit a few more times to see if it will get the coveted 5th star.

Five stars. You wouldn't think that the best omelet I have ever had came from a road side diner in the middle of Eastern Oregon, but it did! Surprisingly great food, the waitress was amazing & made me feel like old school family & the prices were completely reasonable. Thanks for the stopping point, we will be back again.
