Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken

If you enjoy fried chicken, you gotta check out Gus’s. I had the 2 piece dark meat with cole slaw and baked beans. The coleslaw and baked beans were really good, but the main attraction here is the chicken. Crispy, savory, moist, and a slight spice at the end - this FC is spectacular! Gotta head back soon and try the white meat and mac n cheese.

What a find! The food is delicious. The fried chick is about as perfect as I have every had (perfectly crispy, seasoned well and not greasy at all). We had fried chicken (of course) with mac & cheese (so creamy), potato salad, collard greens and baked beans (not our favorite). Too bad we live farther away or this would be our go to spot for chicken. Be very watchful of the parking! There is roadside parking and a parking garage about a block down - do not park in the business lots around (we saw someone getting their car towed).

9/2/21 7pm Thursday Best customer service from Rachel, when she speaks to you it feels shes doing it for reals and not just because its her job. First time walking in and Rachel joyfully greeted me and let me know i can choose a seat and she'll attend me. Food was good ; Seasoned fries- crunchy nice flavor , maybe a bit much on the seasoning but tastes good. Chicken wing- nice crispy and juicy wing served hot Chicken tender- nice crispy and juicy wing served hot Beans-good flavor and has a bit of sweet flavor also Bread- really light toast on one side and for me it tasted like the Bimbo bread. Lemonade- good, and ice was cold....

No words. Food was that good. Amazing staff. Chicken cooked perfectly. And the spice on it was amazing. It's got a great kick but not too much for me. My wife and kids would probably say it's too spicy though. You don't need any sauce because it's already flavorful and juicy but if the heats too much do a little dip dip in the ranch and you should be good. You should go. I'll be back.
