No confirmation email (a first ever, in all our years of travel) Choice Hotels Member, as well as AAA. No discount given (claimed "no room available" until we tried it without using these two memberships. So, that is shady, in itself!) The hotel counter attendant interrupted our checking in (& even thanked us for being a Choice member, so therefore acknowledged it) to answer an inhouse phone call, leaving a child, appearing to be around 11 or 12 years of age, who was beside her behind the check in counter, to complete our check in (placed paperwork on counter, told us where to sign & initial, made keys and told us our room number). How young can you be to be a Clarion employee??? Absolutely no cabinet or anywhere to place even a toothbrush. . . had to use ironing board as a place to lay our things to get ready. Tub was grimy and dirty, I almost slipped when trying to shower. It obviously had not been cleaned. The garbage can right outside our room was overflowing and never emptied our whole stay. Have pictures of proof, time stamped. Just not sure how to post them. Don't even ask me about the bar, Fizz. Major management issues. See my review on that site.

The first room we were given had an overwhelming choking mildew smell. We got a second room that was better but the bathroom behind the toilet was dirty (yellow). Our TV did not work for 3 days. The hallway was HOT. The air in the room worked fine. Shower and hot water was good. The breakfast appeared to be good although I didn’t eat it. The pool looked cloudy and to be fair, there were teams of children and it was very well used. This hotel was full and the staff was struggling to keep up although they were trying. Location was good and parking was abundant even though the hotel was full. I don’t think I’ll stay again.

They have a pretty nice outdoor pool. Exterior access to bottom floor rooms without having to go through the lobby. That's pretty cool. Big bathroom and pretty close to everything in town.

In hotel bar/restaurant. Still doing breakfast "post covid" which is awesome. Nice rooms, TV and wash rooms. Beds are decent house keeping looks on point. Make sure you bring your own snacks tho, vending machines are dry. All and all I've enjoyed my stay
