Beautiful place! Great for steelhead fishing if you can catch one. A lot of parking in the area. The parking lot is a little sketchy with broken glass around. So if you come here don’t leave anything valuable in your truck/car. During fishing season this place gets really full and packed

We use this as a takeout for Whitewater Kayaking. These guys/gals are great for simply letting us trespass to continue the stoke for the whitewater community.

This is a interesting place to stop if you happen to go on Reiter Road just east of Goldbar. The site is a state fish hatchery. There are hiking trails around the hatchery and down to the nearby river Bathrooms onsite

Yes but not much. Mostly hatchery Steelhead trout come to that place for spawning. Also couple wild coho and pink salmons.
