Decent rooms. Breakfast was meh. Only real complaint would be the shower head. It was clean, no deposits showing but the water did not spray well on any setting. Probably is clogged inside or they added additional water saver devices to a head that is a water saver.

We showed up without a reservation snd it was about 8:00 p.m. Only because the hotel that we booked lost the reservation and overbooked and told us to cone here and try. They were amazing at finding us a room and it was so clean and fast that we definitely will plan our trip to stop here. When you know there's a clean room to stay in you'll make that effort.

Best customer service I have received in a long time. Tina and Gus were amazingly friendly, helpful, and willing to help me with checking in, recommendations to eat, buy groceries, and suggestions for things to do in the area. The room and property were very clean, and breakfast was good. I would definitely recommend this Hampton Inn.

We booked this Hampton Inn in Cornelia for our weekend visit to Helen, because it was significantly less expensive than the one in Helen, and just a short drive (maybe 30 minutes). I believe we saved about $100 per night. The gal at the front desk was friendly and helpful. Our room on the first floor was not ready yet, so we agreed to take one on the third floor that was available. We were actually glad we did, after reading some of the reviews about the noise level being down below, and it was quiet up there! The room was clean, bed nicely made. The bed was not very comfortable, mattress was hard. Didn’t sleep well for that reason. There was a mini fridge with a tiny freezer spot to keep our cooler pack in, and also a small microwave. We went down to the front desk and they gave us extra pillows which did help a lot with the bed comfort. Breakfast was “ok”. There was a waffle maker, cereal, yogurt, juice, eggs (those were not too good) and sausage. Also a bin of muffins, bagels and a few pieces of fruit. Since we are gluten free and sugar free, we opted to go out for breakfast. Normally we gravitate to the protein, but it was not great. We choose to stay at Hampton Inn over the years frequently, because it has been consistently very nice, comfortable and clean. This one seems like it’s ‘past it’s prime’, and in dire need of updating and fixing. It seems the last few Hampton Inns we stayed at in other places were in similar condition. Kind of disappointing, but makes sense that after many years this would happen, and I’m sure it is a massive undertaking to remodel/update a hotel. If you’re just looking for a clean room though, and don’t mind the short drive to Helen, this was worth the stay and savings. We figured our $200 savings paid for our food for the weekend!
