Brought in $1400 worth of gold (spot price but ALL wearable so worth way more). Owner didnt want some of the pieces ($800 worth) because they weren't marked. Told him I had already gotten a loan at the pawn shop for these particular pieces AND had them verified at The Gallery of Diamonds. I even had the pawn slips in my truck. He said since they weren't marked, he didnt want them, they weren't testing as gold because the machine was jumping from gold to gold filled and refused to acid test. I told him one of the things that he said wasnt marked WAS marked and showed him where and he was like "Well it doesn't matter, I'm not interested." What does that even mean? You stated you didnt want it because it wasnt marked and then I show you it is and you refuse to look and reconsider. Then he goes on to tell me he is more knowledgeable than the pawn shops and the jewelry stores lol. And hes been in the business for a while and yadda yadda. Very inflated ego and definitely not justifiably because he is the only one in town that cant verify gold as being genuine. Claims to be an expert but far from it. Even I can eye gold and sterling and tell if its authentic AND what karat it is as I've been dealing with jewelry for over a decade. The really funny thing is I brought the exact same set of bracelets I did this time that I brought a year ago and his partner gave me an offer for them because they tested as 10K but NOW they all of the sudden dont? I didnt sell them then because gold wasn't as high. They need a new method of testing because obviously it isnt working. Probably expired testing products. Well I after arguing back and forth about these things with him, I asked what he'd give me for the things that he was interested in and he turned me away and said he wasnt interested in doing business anymore. I walked in with over $2,000 in my pocket, willing to make a deal (I wanted to barter) and had more than enough money to buy the things I wanted if we couldnt come to an agreement. But now I'll never go in there again. Seems like he cares more about his ego than he does customer service because he was rude, condescending and unapologetic for being wrong.

Bad service, owner is rude arrogant and a con artist. He tried to buy all my silver mint sets for face value. He tried to give me 40 percent on my gold coins. Gold in the form of currency the rate is 95 percent. Do not sell him anything. Be patient and go to leo hamil or somewhere

Terrible business since those people took over it, they talk to customers like they are the experts and try to sell junk silver for top dollar, no respect, no customer service, the older women that works in the store have ZERO people skills, she stood their to argue with 3 customers, all of them were telling her that she is selling junk silver for more than double the silver price and she start yelling and screaming like she were crazy, I came back to the store to deal with Alex but unfortunately she start the whole subject again to fight and argue about it like a child and Alex told me ( WE are the experts and customers opinion don't mean a thing) Wow, Great Characters works there, go buy silver there if you want to get ripped off. 07/19/2017 Called them because I wanted to sell some coins, they said yes please come in The minute I walked in the store, Alex and Mary flat out said thank you we are not interested, even tho I sent my friend with the same coins 20 minutes before and they made him an offer for $150 then I drove to battle Ground to THE GOLDEN COIN & JEWELRY and sold the same coins for $275 OMG Just like they say a cheater will always be a cheater. Idiots working there and all they care about is making a dollar of people instead of keeping people coming back, Wowww

Yes they buy silver
The 1943 cents are made of steel and are not all that valuable unless in new uncirculated condition. Circulated 1943 cents can be purchased for a dollar or less from a coin shop. Not from cable TV where you pay for their production costs. Off metal strikes like a copper 1943 or steel 1944 are very rare and valuable.
They are a coin only & Currency shop and gold panning but no dive shops
