Captain Brett is Awesome! He is a Pro. He took us to where all the fish were and taught us how to fish properly. Everyone on the boat had a great time. At the end of the trip he got us some crabs also. He had placed the traps the night before just for us. We were very impressed with the experience with Captain Brett. We would definitely come back again and again. Thank you Captain Brett!

Highliner Charter was recommended to me by a former colleague who'd gone fishing with them two times already, so I gave them a try as well Highliner Charters is a great fishing charter that I definitely would fish again. We were fortunate to have Capt Brett (retired Naval aviator) as our captain on the boat and his wife Pattie runs the office. Excellent service and always made sure to contact us with our upcoming fishing trip. Prompt response was excellent! My party of 6 enjoyed our time trying to fish for halibut. We unfortunately did not catch any fish, but that is not the Capt's fault nor the location. Some days the fish just aren't biting. We did get 1 hit in the afternoon. Since this was our party's first time halibut fishing, we were surprised when that halibut took our bait and ran with it, and broke a 40lb line test. So if someone catches a monster halibut somewhere in Anacortes dragging a weight w/ the breaker/split bar that probably was the monster we lost! Safety wise Capt Brett made sure in our boat everyone was safe and comfortable. I would recommend Highliner Charter to anyone and best of luck liiting on fish and keeping the lines tight! My family have been fishing with Brett and Highliner for 10 yrs He feels more like family than a company. The fish don't always bite but the conversation and the company are great. We will see you again next year guys.

Brett did an amazing job! 4 of us on board and we all caught our limit and then released multiple wild ones caught! We would highly recommend Highliner Charters to anyone looking to fish the San Juan’s. Our ego got damaged, our 7 yr old daughter caught the most and biggest!!
