It's a hotel, but it needs work. Me and my parents flew down here to congratulate my sister for getting her Master's degree and we were staying for 5 days. Out first night was at another hotel at the Plaza Hotel Fort Lauderdale. That hotel felt like a motel. Old furniture, a unwelcoming odor that traveled through the whole building and bugs in the shower and uncleaned appliances. We quickly came here to switch hotels and I am mostly glad I did. I called the hotel and was able to quickly get a room for us even though it was Mother's Day weekend. We have our room and everything is pretty good. The stove does not work, but I do appreciate the push for a way to comfort the guest who stay the night. The beds are comfortable and are very clean. But there was 2 things that made this not as enjoyable as it should have been. First off, there are 3 buildings that are not connected, but are all the rooms that are owned by Extended Stay America. Meaning I would have to walk to the building that has my room outside. It's not a huge thing, but it really is a bummer that the buildings aren't connected by default. Second of all, the bugs. I understand that Florida is a warm-climate state and are home to tropical animals and many bugs. But it seemed like the more nights passed by, the more bugs kept appearing; mainly in the bathroom. Lucky we didn't encounter any bugs in the beds, but it is an issue that should be addressed. We talked to a associate and they said they would work on the problem when I said something the 3rd night. It didn't seem like the problem was completely eliminated. This was my main issue with the room as a whole. With these 2 problems I had, I would say this is a hotel that is worth the discounted price if you need a place just to sleep for the night. This building has potential to be better than what it already is. Wouldn't fully recommend it to someone unless they are short on funds or there are no other options.

I am a disable person and at times i require a little help now and then, Freddie is my go to person, if he can"t do it then he will return with a smile to help me. For the life of me i can"t remember this young lady"s name but she helps me with my coffee and take it to my room, when she is not around i end up with 1/2 cup and trail from the lobby to my door of coffee. Arlene the lady from house keeping, she greets me with a smile and inquirer if there is any thing she could access me with, if i do it"s done.Over all staff was very caring they see to your needs. I had an excellent time here. thanks !

The staff at this property are all great! They all go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. Please give your staff awards. I have stayed at dozen of hotels in Florida This was on the top of the list of best stays/experiences ever. Staff was very hospitable and there for every need of mine. Thank you so much.
