I was looking for a Whole Foods and my relative said there are none in Stockton, and I was like, what?! She recommended Safeway. Safeway In the Lincoln Center has an impressive organic vegetable section. Dino kale, regular kale, cilantro, purple beets, mint, cucumbers, ginger, fennel bulb, celery, carrots, and red chard all were high quality, comparable to WF. Unable to locate fresh turmeric. Found a dozen cage-free eggs for 50% off. Avocados were 2 for $4 which was a price shocker as I can find them for $1 apiece in Massachusetts. Employees were all very friendly and helpful. I asked three employees for help and each one of them walked me to the section I was looking for. Cashier was efficient and helpful. I only have one picture inside the grocery store as I was very focused on getting the shopping done. The picture I have is of the organic red radishes and I was trying to figure out whether my relative wanted the purple beets or the red radishes.

Stopped in to pick up a couple gift cards. I like shopping for gift cards here because Safeway has such a wide variety. It's typically my one-stop shop because I can take care of my shopping needs at once. They have reasonable prices and a variety of goods, so it's convenient for me.

Helpful employees, items kept well stocked, plenty of parking. No wonder it was busy but steady. Shopping carts were somewhat scarce but we manage to find one by another courteous customer as they were finishing up. Safeway gas station nearby was also a plus if you have those points that go toward the pump. Our shopping experience was a pleasant one and we will be back again on our next trip out for groceries.

Clean , great selection on products! They do have a kiosk for the DMV, which is fantastic but was out of service & only takes credit cards when it is up & running.
