Finally got to meet my vet face to face due to COVId. Love Dr. Scott. She was more thorough than expected and really did an amazing assessment

Love this place...Dr Dana and her assistant helped make my sweet dog's life happier and healthier...and when it became his time to leave us, they couldn't have been kinder, or more compassionate. It was the hardest thing I've ever had to do, my dog was almost 17 yrs old, and i was an absolute mess when i brought him in...but, it was all very sensitively handled, and as traumatic as it was to say goodbye to my little guy, i felt like they cared about my feelings, and his comfort through every minute...and a few days later, i received the nicest ard in the mail, signed with sweet messages from all of the staff, and the vets in the office...they are really great people, and when I'm ready to adopt a new best friend, i won't want any other vet to care for him, or her...thank you Purdy Veterinary Hospital for being such a great friend to pets and their families...especially for the loving care you gave my grumpy little Buster...i could not be more grateful...❤

Fantastic vet office, very clean with great prices for serving customers. We were preparing to travel internationally with our dog and if it weren't for the staffs dedication we would not have received the documentation on time which would have created a very difficult situation. We very much appreciate how they went above and beyond to make everything come together!

We have used this Vet for over 20 years but I will never take our pets there again. The last few times our babies have been in to see the doctor it is clear they no longer care about our pet. It is all about the money. We took our 8 year old Rottweiler in a few months ago for a hot spot on her hind end and a broken toenail and they insisted on bloodwork. $500.00. Today our 8 month old Rottweiler / Mastiff went in to be neutered, When we made the appointment 4 weeks ago we were quieted $230.00. This morning when we took him in they said it would be $297.00. When I questioned the price I was told. That is the price today! And I quote ' TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT'. Very rude women at the front counter! It's not about the money. We love our pets and cost is never an issue when it comes to there health. I hate the idea that all our pets are to them is money! They are always pushing for bloodwork, an easy $140.00 . Money, money, money. This was our last trip to Purdy vet clinic! On top of all that, we had to have him in at 8 am. Then when they called at 2.33 this afternoon, they said he just got done and we could pick him up at 4.30. 6 hours in the kennel befor surgery? Poor guy had poop all over his butt and tail. You would think they could clean him up. They just don't care about your pets, just there bottom line! $$$$ I gave them 1 star because my Tucker was still alive when we picked him! They really don't deserve that!

Questions & Answers

Im looking for a vet for my pregnant guinea pig incase of emergency since she is a first time mom and it could be high risk, is this a good vet for guinea pig or rodents?

They are great for all small animals. Good luck!

Do they allow you to go in the back with the pet? For non-surgical visits obviously.

Yes they do . They also let me see my cat after her surgery while in recovery. I can not say enough good things about them. They are truly amazing.
