Perfect place to stop on your way to Long Beach. The place has loads of character and lots of characters working there. The food is great, especially the house made fries and chips. The milk shakes are delicious. In addition to being characters, the waitstaff members are all very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, professional, and efficient. The one downside is the Hamburger buns all have sesame seeds. Not good those of us with sesame seed aversions. However, they do have lots of other sandwiches and tastee options. I have driven by for many years without stopping, but I will stop the next time I am in the vicinity. Well worth a try.

"A small mom n pop gem". They're not a fancy place by any stretch, which means their food is homemade with local ingredients. My burger was great and came with a mountain of fries. My mom got chowder and really liked it. "Couldn't describe it, but it was yummy!" Wide menu rangi6from soups salads sandwiches and burgers to pizza milkshakes and dinners. They feature homemade ice cream. Eat in or drive thru. Would definitely recommend it on your next road trip.

They aren't joking about having the best burgers. Even have a gluten free bun option. We went again on the way back home to try the homemade ice cream and their "colossal" cinnamon roll. ALSO very worth it. The cinnamon roll had proper homemade cream cheese icing! And was indeed humongous! Ice cream was great, think homemade vanilla soft serve with whatever sundae toppings you could imagine.

Great milkshakes and cute restaurant. They have a drive up and outdoor seating. You go look at the huge menu board then find a table. They take your order and it's that easy. The fish and chips were ok, so was the steak. The witness told us they are famous for their burgers. So will try that next time. French fried are amazing.
