Came here to get some substrate. I had an extra tank for a while now with live plants and thought about what I could stock it with, but decided on a betta fish instead since he was just too darn cute There appears to be minimal waste in their betta cups and only one of them seems to have swim bladder issues. While I was paying for my stuff, I found it awkward since I don't talk to people often and was being questioned. I was asked if I had taken care of betta fish before by the cashier and I said yes. They then asked me if they were going to be placed in the same tank, to which I said no. This is not a good idea because the fish are territorial and will cause problems if placed in the same tank. However, it is appreciated that the employee is going out of their way to inform people about these fish as they are frequently abused. Anyways here are some pics of Prndl in his new home. I had difficulty getting a picture of him because he kept swimming around. However, there are some tears in his fins and I hope they heal and grow out beautifully. UPDATE: It's been 2 days and ma boy is making a bubble nest. These bubbles freak me out because I have trypophobia, but it's good to know he's comfortable in his new home.

‼️DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOGS TO PETCO GROOMERS‼️ The grooming services here are so unprofessional and quite rude to their animals. We had an appointment booked for our senior dog AND had noted “have the most experienced groomer on her because she’s sensitive.” We’ve been going to this location for about a year prior, unfortunately our regular groomer had moved. When I arrived they were handling her so aggressively, and it almost looked like our dog was choking in the harness. I started to take a video and the employees tried to cover their work, they turned to look away and all of a sudden she’s hanging off the table! I was so surprised by the way they were treating my dog, we did bring it up-to management. We did get comped the grooming service but it was followed with “banning” our dog from their groomers as if it was her fault?! Please don’t take your animal here if you care for their well-being

First time grooming customer experience. Worst experience ever! First the appointment was canceled because the staff is not showing up then I am rescheduled but now when I show up my dog a collie is oversized and I am asked to reschedule AGAIN??? I asked to speak to the Manager Karyn who was absolutely useless and while all this is going on I see no dogs in the grooming section and two staff groomers completely idle. I think PETCO has an understanding of customer service backwards. It’s not what they can do for you but how you, as the customer can accommodate their Corporation. Called Petsmart they were so accommodating and cheaper for more grooming options as well. Don’t waste your time like I did, go straight to Petsmart. Pathetic!!!
