I really wish I could say something good but I was brought here on a date and I still haven’t received my food. Just a side of beef and goat meat and he’s finish. Been waiting like 45 minutes for just a side of beef and goat meat. Well it just arrived🙏🏽 The Owner came to me personally and apologized for the inconvenience.

This food is terrible. I am upset. I drove 35 to go pick up this food. I recently moved to Dallas, and I asked people to give me a recommendation for Nigerian food, and they mentioned this place. I got the Ewa agoin and ofado rice. The Ewa agoin was very salty, and there was not even enough fried stew or beef on it. The ofado rice was just okay, with not much flavor.

Their abula with assorted meat is absolutely authentic and tasty. If you are a true Naija, who knows what authentic naija food tastes like, you will appreciate this. Even the aroma sef took me all the way back to my grandmas kitchen in Ibadan. Of course it’s not cheap, but you pay for what you get. I am a regular business traveler to Dallas, and when the team is “going out to dinner” they already know to exclude me cause they know what I am eating. I use UBER EATS and no issues with quality. They should have 4 stars as their food is good. I purchased 2 dishes. Egusi and spinach stew. The dishes weren't even half full and they charge $14 a plate. I had to wait 25 minutes for them to make it and I saw the plates the people who dined in received. They were full?? I don't understand that. I want to be a regular customer so I called the restaurant four times and got the voicemail. I was hoping to discuss it with them before posting this review. If you charge $14 give $14 worth of food please. Update, I went back to the restaurant and the owner replaced one of the dishes, the spinach stew. He should of replaced both but I'll leave that where it is. They seemed a little upset about my review but I'll leave that alone as well. Here's what I like about them. They have a nice ambiance, it's clean and clutter free. The food is REALLY GOOD!! Not sure I'll go back not to comfortable eating from people who seem to hold a grudge. Their cook is absolutely amazing!!! I could eat their food anytime! I added a pic of the replaced meal and the egusi plate from my first visit. The owner did a really nice thing on my first visit, he gave me a free shot of Hennessey. I think they'll get better, but I'll take me and my money elsewhere.😓
