I live in the Midwest and am here in Beaverton just for the summer. This is the first Fred Meyer I've ever been to. The store is pretty much Kroger, I don't know what makes this a "Fred Meyer". I've had some bad experiences with employees (some act like they're busier than they actually are and act annoyed when asking for help). The store layout is awful because I was having trouble even finding staples like bread and eggs. Prefer Meijer or Kroger to this.

What an unfriendly person. Kriti the lady at the register took all her sweet time for the person in front of me and was very friendly. I don’t know what I did to her but after waiting patiently in line she started throwing my stuff around and started chatting with the person behind me. I didn’t even get a hello back nothing!! Only shouting for my ID and starring at me while I was trying to keep up packing my stuff. Thank you for making my day!

This was my first time ever being in a Fred Meyer. I believe they are a subsidiary or a parent company of a grocery store chain in Utah called Smith's. The store was clean, well organized, and all the staff I talked to helped me with all of my needs.

Very large and busy Fred Meyer, with the sort of variety expected at a Kroger chain location. The big draw for me was the Murray’s counter. There were a lot of cheeses, but I had hoped for more local ones, though they did have three from Rivers Edge from Oregon! Self-check out was quick and easy.
