This was my first time trying Trompo and the food was delicious! I ordered for our office party of 7 and everyone loved it! Online ordering was easy and it was ready on time! The only reason I gave 4 stars is because the food was not labeled in any way and I had to separate everyone's order when I got back to the office. Two or three kinds different tacos in the same container and I have to figure out whose is whose by opening them up and matching the menu description with what I see. It's not very sanitary. Good thing my coworkers didn't mind me touching all the food.

The food is a 4.5 star but my overall experience is a 3 star. Everything I tried was delicious and affordable prices! The poblano taco ($2.15) had ample filling and the tacos are double corn shells! When I ordered the quesadilla ($4.25 for tinga), I was thinking of all the quesadillas I have eaten in my life, so I was surprised their version is "open faced". To be fair when you order, it does show a picture but I didn't know if that was just a taco showing by mistake. You order outside (on a tablet on the wall) and there are no staff outside to assist with ordering. We actually walked inside and saw a few staff, and they just looked at us hahaha but we were not greeted. Since there were no customers we walked back outside. The jarritos ($2.25) are a good pair but they only offer sodas, water or juices; no alcohol choices available and that's a missed opportunity since it is a taco spot in bishop arts, open until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. The elote ($3.50) is a delicious take on the traditional, but the sizing did seem a bit smaller compared to the elote stands in the area for similar prices. Lastly, there is only outside seating and that's a personal miss for me. I don't mind sitting outside but prefer inside. There is ample seating and there are trees to give shade but since it's the fall, the leaves were falling. I was talking to a friend and looked at my elote cup and there were leaves in it. I would come back if I'm in the area but would not seek out to come until they have some inside seats. Spent about $13 on one drink, one taco, one quesadilla and one elote cup. There isn't an option to tip when you pay either!! Come on managers, give us the option.

The only one of six taco places we visited twice during the week. They have an awesome shady courtyard for outdoor seating. Order at the kiosk and enter thru the white door; there's another kiosk in the courtyard area.

Funky little joint serving trompo tacos along with everything else you'd expect. Order at the kiosk out front or in the courtyard. Go inside if you order from out front. The Campechana is a must!

You should call them to ask.. I'm not sure if they are open or not...
Unfortunately, my buddy was driving, and I didn't pay that close attention. What I can tell you is that it is North of i30. So the 111 Bishop address is completely wrong! I will talk with him and try to update this note. Update: I was somewhat wrong. They moved from when I was there last. Try this address: 407 W. 10th St. STE 135. I think it is right around the corner from the house on Google, but I've never been to this location.
No seating. Standing room only
