Awesome two days of fishing with guide Nick. Apparently Nick is one of the younger newer guides, but he did an awesome job of putting us on the fish both days. WHEN (not if) we go back we will ask for him specifically. We left with our limit, which Nick filleted up perfectly per the MN requirements for travel. We also caught quite a number of photo worthy catch and release monsters! We had an absolutely great time and made lots of memories. We stayed in the Evergreen cabin which was fantastic and very large!!! Food and drink at the restaurant were excellent. We'll be back and thank you Nick for making our trip TOP NOTCH!!!

The guides are great and very knowledgeable. No doubt they'll put you on fish. This is our third year up there for 12 of us. Awesome place!

First time ice fishing. The people at Arnesens were very friendly and knowledgeable. They took excellent care of our group the entire time. The food at the lodge is excellent!

Brought our 16 year old daughter here for a guided fishing experience and she loved it. Jordan was helpful and attentive to making sure the experience was positive and filled with adventure. She caught many walleye and learned some fishing tactics. Definitely hope to come back here again. The resort is spacious and offers enough space between cabins and campers for comfort. Love all the mature trees and beautiful rock along the point. The employees have been very friendly and accommodating. Overall, highly recommended.

Yes they serve pizza & the breakfast begins at 6:30 am.
No all cabins
Walleye and sauger are the two most gone after there.. with northern pike and yellow perch around the area in good numbers as well. Tulibee are there as well along with the occasional ell pout are about the most common.... but I have heard of the rare lake trout being caught down in that area and a rare sturgeon being brought up.
You can always call them or there is also a Facebook group called Lake of the woods reel fishing reports. This group has some great information about ice conditions and fishing reports from all over lake of the woods including rocky point and the surrounding area. Hope this helps! We are visiting Arnesen's in a few weeks for the 3rd year in a row and can't wait!
