I have shopped at safeway for many years. You pay a little more but you get better quality and YOU USE TO GET QUALITY CUSTOMER SERVICE. I shop according to the weekly ads to get great prices since I'm on a limited budget. There are some weeks that I absolutely cannot get to the store until 10pm on Tuesday, which is the last day of the weekly ad. First, they take the ad offline around 10:30 so if you have any last minute items to add or look up....too bad. Luckily I had most things already added. Second, I got to the register at 11:55pm just to be told that none of the sale prices will be honored because it will be after midnight before everything can be ran through. I was in the store before 11 and at the register before midnight. The main reason I go to safeway is for the weekly ad, not to mention they are usually out of at least half of what i came in for. I said I would think you would honor the prices thru Tuesday night. He pointed to the register and said "actually, it's Wednesday now. It's after midnight." After being rude to me he asked me if I still wanted to get the groceries. I left with no groceries. Why couldn't a manager override the computer?? They could have. They never seem to have any mgmt there when I would like to speak to someone higher in authority. I have been a loyal customer for years. Safeway has always had higher standards than other grocery stores with exceptional customer service. So to have such poor customer service almost everytime I've been there is very disappointing. Safeway has definitely gone downhill. Sad.

Good store. Location is convenient. Prices are a little higher than other stores, but still good quality. I've had some issues with the pharmacy, but that's another review.

All the checkers early mornings are great. I always shop at opening, 6:00 AM. And usually coincide with Larry being on duty. Thought I should go out of my way to say how good he is at his job and so pleasant. Others have always been helpful and friendly too. I like this store, I go to no other supermarket.

Safeway is always a clean place to shop. The quality of food and products is something I can count on being above average. The staff is helpful and well trained. I don't recall having any issues here throughout the years. Can't go wrong!
