To get any work done you need a pre authorization..they will not give it to you. They will drag it out and everytime you talk to someone you are starting over and you get told something different everytime. Its simple fillings, I am going on 8 weeks waiting for dental approval for my 6 year old. Who needs this work done. We have never done anything but cleaning in the past 2 years and when we need actual dental services they won't approve it. It's absolutely horrible how they treat their members who pay for benefits and cannot access them. I would give them 0 stars

Paid my bill on time. As soon as the next billing cycle began (so a full month before the due date) they charged my card without my authorization, and I had never given permission to even store a card.

Less than 1 star. This health plan will charge you every month 200+$, and say they're giving you health care coverage and then when you go see a Dr. they send you a bill for that dr visit and not show that you paid the copay at the visit but they also add $400.00for the visit after the premium was paid in full prior to that visit. So for every $400.00 that I pay for a Dr visit they pay $6.00... How is that Medical insurance coverage??? It's a fraud. Complete garbage. DO NOT GET THIS HEALTH PLAN. ITS GARBAGE. So I give a negative 6 stars.

This is the single worst company I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. And if anyone is interested in a class action lawsuit, please contact me. They flat out refuse to cover the expense of my 10 year old daughter's braces, even though braces are clearly covered in her policy. No ambiguity. No question. They're covered in black-and-white. And when I ask to talk to a supervisor about why they aren't covering the cost, no one is available and no one returns my calls. Ever. Call center reps write down my name and number, day after day after day, and they promise a supervisor will return my call within 24 hours. Never once have I gotten a call back. And it's been almost *6 months.* LifeWise takes my money and they do not cover even what is contractually obligated in my policy. This is a highly abusive company that - frankly - doesn't care about laws. And I have the paperwork and records to prove it. Stay away.

I had the same issue, but I'm sure all insurance carriers are overwhelmed with new subscribers. I find it easiest to login to my LifeWise account and submit my inquiry. Then they already have all of my info and can answer quickly, or forward it to the right person. I hope this helps.
