I have been shopping at Giant Food in Germantown, MD 20876, Store# 362 for over 20years, thats ever since I moved into the area. It's very sad to bring to your attention that the quality of your store# 362 has gone down the drain since last year and half. The employees don't look as happy as they used to be, I know many many employees who have worked at this store for over a decade, so I talk with them every now and then. Upon talking to those employees, it turns out that the work conditions at this store are inhumane work conditions. The store manager Ms. Carrie Daggs has been treating the employees very unfairly, she does not acknowledge the employee efforts, and instead of rewarding the employees she accuses them of something wrong they never did, and that is only based on her likes and dislikes. I have also heard that Carrie Daggs was threatening employees with disciplinary actions when they were infected with covid and could not report to work, this is illegal and should account for disciplinary actions against Carrie Daggs, as Carrie is not only putting the other employees at risk by expecting a infected person to report to work but also putting thousands of customers that shop at this store at health risk. Carrie also has problems approving employee vacation time. Mr. Kress, I need you to understand that everyone has a family that they need to attend to, and Carrie Daggs not approving vacations of the employees based on her own likes and dislikes is totally illegal and calls for hire authority like you to step in and fix this matter. The store manager does not like any communications between the employees and the employees and the union leaders. Union is the right of the employees, employees pay for the union services, it's considered truly illegal when you can't utilize a service you pay for. Whenever it was brought to the attention of store managers any schedule discrepancies, the store manager without any shame told the employees to either work the schedule that was published or walkout of the job. This does not reflect the leadership in such a great corporation, and this reflects the inhumane work environment, you may or may not know this but its a shame to inform you that over the past year many of your great and loyal employees have left the service because of the stress and torturing work environment from the store manager. Also to inform you, many of the employees at giant#362, and i have already tried communicating this with the district manager Ms. D, however she had no courtesy to even respond when it comes to any complaints that involves Carrie, (this is willful blindness). I will not stop supporting the local Giant just because of one shameless store manager. However I do expect you as the leader to take actions against this type of behavior. The actions of Carrie Daggs are not ethical, nor legal.

The store manager Carrie Daggs is a horrible manager, extremely rude to the customers. Upon talking with employees, it turns out that the employees at the store are also fed up by her and waiting for her rotation transfer, which was supposed to happen in 2020, but has not happened because of the corruption in the management. ITS A SHAME.
