The price is reasonable. It was very clean. Hot water was so good.. loved it recommending this place. I went with my kids and husband they have a small space for the kids to enjoy some fresh air. Staff was very nice friendly. Always have staff at front desk 24/7!! Washer and dryer 😄👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Very clean rooms. Housekeeping is daily! Friendly people. Fridge, microwave, dining area with table and chairs in the room and lots of space. Some rooms even have stoves and a kitchen area. Free WIFI and Cox cable TV.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for quite a while after moving to CT and while looking for a place. Prior to staying here, we stayed at the Plymouth Motor Lodge briefly(absolutely horrible!!) And closer to the Siesta at the Grantmoor, very briefly! The Grantmoor charges the same price, but it offers roaches and we weren't feeling that so... As far as the siesta motel goes, it is, imo, the BEST affordable motel on the turnpike. I believe it's $40 per night for a queen bed. It was $287 per week including Connecticut's insane 15% tourism (?) tax in addition to sales tax. The Siesta is super clean!! The rooms are small, but comfortable. Basic rooms come with a microwave and refrigerator (really important during extended stays), free decent Wi-Fi, a big screen TV with a decent cable lineup including HBO and free porn.. If you're into that. The staff is okay, but the language barrier presents a problem at times. We had a couple issues like the washing machine does not work, don't try it. It's a water off money. We tried explaining that to the staff, but they couldn't understand us, but refunded us. Also, at one point we had our son with us and asked them to disable the porn and again they couldn't quite understand our request. When we spoke to the manager, he said there was no way to do that. So keep that in mind if you have children and stay away from property channel 1 or not, idrc...lol. The housekeeping staff can be a lil aggressive or maybe they just come off that way. Like they're suspicious if you don't want your room cleaned daily? It was a lil awkward, especially when four employees show up at your door, but it it's family owned. Also they try to clean way too early, not a big deal. My only real complaint though is actually a testament to the fact that they take pride in their motel. On the last day of a separate stay, they were renovating a room and started drilling and hammering at 8:30am! So while I was quite aggravated, it does mean that they are constantly making repairs and improvements. That is another thing about the Siesta, they replaced the furniture and installed a bigger TV during our stay. They really do take a lot of pride in this place. We had a free minor issues, but I really do highly recommend the Siesta.
