I'm BEYOND EXCITED that M2M has made a home in the heart of Capital Hill. I absolutely LOVE this chain of grocery stores (Hmart/H District) and couldn't believe when I found it the store was opening this spring. It genuinely hasn't let me down, it's SUCH a great go-to spot for ANYTHING. Prices are extremely reasonable along with quality of food being stellar. I've actually stopped shopping at QFC because I can find everything I need and more at M2M. I love the location, the staff is quick and friendly (even the security guards are friendly) and I will never stop raving about M2M. This place truly has my heart.

I was excited about a new market opening up in the neighborhood. I know the Central Coop was hoping to get selected for the location. I was out shopping for a few things and since it was finally open I went in. The place is smaller that I had thought it would be. Even with the smaller carts it was not easy to navigate if there was more than a couple of patrons in the same aisle. I took a few pictures for this review and then set about looking for a couple of items. My nieces introduced me to a Pocky like snack and I was comparing the picture of the snack to the items on the shelves and suddenly some man sharply asked me why I was taking pictures. I have reviewed a number of places now and never have I been asked about it. I tried to explain, I was looking for an item and figured he worked there since he took issue with the pictures. He barely looked at me and sharply said no pictures, why you take pictures? While walking away and ignoring my question. I thought maybe he didn't work there but didn't like someone taking pictures? I had taken pictures for the review but I had stopped when I started shopping. I only had my cell out to compare the picture of the item I was shopping for. I did confirm he does work there, tho in what capacity I don't know. I tried to finish my shopping but I could tell I was being shadowed and that made me feel uncomfortable, so I put everything back and left. I have not been back and don't think I will.

Such a nice addition to Cap Hill! I was so happy to see a Korean grocery store make its way into the Cap Hill neighborhood. Tons of amazing options to choose from. Wide variety of snacks, thin sliced meat for hot pots, they even have fresh octopus and a lot more! 🤤🤤🤤 The staff are friendly and helpful! Definitely recommend stopping in ☺️

For a recently implemented store, I think it is being well-managed and I appreciate the security guards staying on alert and doing their jobs. Cleanliness is obviously a value held by management. Good job! Good produce section with not-so-common ingredients. Lots of interesting treats and snacks I have not seen before. Cons: Cashier snapped at me when I tried to put my basket on the conveyor belt at the register, as if the store had been there for years and I should have known by now that it was a store policy. You're not getting a good rating for that behavior but for the location and quality of products.
