Dad and I took a couple days to go up to the 1000 Islands and didn't expect to make it some extravagant vacation, but wanted to have a couple more simple days off. Capt.'s was awesome! The double queen bed room was sizable, but cozy, and the location of this motel was outside of the downtown district, making it a lot easier to go out of town to Clayton or the state parks. As far as amenities, basic motel stuff like a microwave, mini fridge, 36ish inch TV. The TV was even cool because I was able to cast Netflix to it from my phone. My only complaint was the beds, not because they weren't comfortable, but they were loud and squeaky. I felt bad every time I tossed and turned because I thought I was going to wake him up. The staff was very friendly, though, answering all questions and concerns! All in all, was a good stay, and would go again!

Our room was dirty ! Did not feel comfortable walking barefooted! It also smelled like an ash tray! This is a non smoking facility!!! We left after the first night and went elsewhere!

Very friendly and helpful Riley at the front desk. Arrived at 10am, our room was ready and we were given the keys. Our room was very clean, quiet and close to many tourist attractions. Captain's Inn and Suites, Captain Thomson's Resort on the water in A Bay and Uncle Sam's Boat Tours are all owned by the same company and it's reflected in the cleanliness of the properties and friendliness of their staff.

I was blown away by what was presented. The staff at the counter were so kind and friendly. The rooms were VERY clean and well taken care of, especially for a motel. The other guest were very pleasant. Nothing out of the ordinary what so ever. The pool was so nice to swim in and it was clean. There is a restaurant right next door for breakfast and lunch and it’s very affordable. The drive inns are right down the road too. They even have a dock for you to place your boat. I will be staying here again for sure.
