Great romantic getaway with some rough edges. So let's start with the room. We stayed in an Apple of Eden room that has its own pool in the room. A rather small pool but it gets the job done. The rough edges were some holes in the walls. Peeling wallpaper and patches. Then there was the jacuzzi which had a leak making it impossible to use or enjoy. The grounds are nice and nestled in some beautiful countryside. Plenty of activities all over the resort evening we chose to enjoy thr room more. The food was fine though I would have preferred not to have a buffet in a pandemic world. That's all on me and doesn't affect my overall rating. If you are looking to solidify a new relationship or reconnect with an old one I say this is a great place to do so.

Mixed feelings about the resort. You can definitely tell it's an old establishment. Upgrades and maintenance would help a lot. The buildings just even look old. However, the inside of buildings and room were rather nice. The food was delicious and everyone on staff that I encountered were really nice and usually helpful. I think the rooms are a little over priced. Food and drinks at the the bar and restaurant were pretty reasonable. I also liked the variety of things to do and the entertainment on Saturday night was nice. I'd visit again, although it is almost a 4hour drive for me.

We loved it here. We actually did not want to come back. We stayed in the Garden of Eden and it had the hot tub shaped like a heart, and a sauna and pool. We saw a magic show and we went to the game room as well as used a couple of exercise machines. The food is superb, and everyone there was so nice. It has a pretty view and I love the deer who were there. We rate it more than 5 stars, recommend it and will definitely come back!

Spent over $800 for the champagne suite + some additional add-ins. Overall the experience was positive and we enjoyed our stay. However, for that price point for one night I expect a flawless room and ours was not. Many of the lights in the room were not working, including the star lights above the champagne hot tub and the mirror above the bed had two very large blackish brown stains on there that were very off putting. The dinner we had at the dining hall was great and the service was as well.
