Brushwood Folklore Center is wonderful and I love it there. Whether I show up at more quiet times during the camping season for hiking, relaxation, and simply enjoying nature, or during festive times for enjoying the greater community and all that we have to share, Brushwood is a perfect place to replenish my body, mind, and spirit.

I have been coming to Brushwood since 2007. The owners have built a campground that is very welcoming and empowers open minds. I have developed relationships with fellow campers that is like extended family. Everytime I drive into their driveway I feel like I am home again.

I miss this place so much and I'm so looking forward to returning this summer! Lovely people, thoughtful conversations, respectful debates. I always come away feeling refreshed and renewed. The land heals and I miss my friends around the bend.

We have been attending Brushwood for over 20 yrs. This year they have mandated vaccination. They will ask for proof to attend. This place is about my body my right unless it goes against their agenda. We will no longer be coming to a place that forces their opinions on others. It should be illegal to ask someone about their personal choices.
