The shrimp was lightly battered and limp, the potato was cold, stiff and dried out, the Flounder was limp, lightly breaded and not at all like pictured, it was in tiny pieces chopped up. The salad was all hard pieces and carrots overkill, hardly had any of the other ingredients pictured..even the French fries were cool and limp...all the food was cool to the touch like it had been sitting out all day. And yet when I arrived, I had to wait about 4 minutes because the kitchen was behind. Was very disappointed. RL use to be known for great food and huge fresh helpings, now its expensive food not worth the cost. So remember just because it looks and appears nice, doesn't mean the food will be. Sorry to say they have seen the last of me if this is how their food is as a norm. PS: I tried to add RL menu pictures so you could see a side by side of what they say they serve and what we actually get, but my phone won't let me attach them. If I find out how soon, I'll post them so you can see the huge difference.

My neighbor Jerry asked me, Saturday afternoon, that he would like to take me to Red Lobster for lunch for Father's Day. What a cool invite, and gift for Father's Day. Jerry, you're awesome for asking me! He said he appreciated me having helped him out with a few things. I said Jerry, I was glad I helped in any way I could. Red Lobster was quite crowded around 12-12:30 pm this afternoon, had to stand for a short while, but not too long. They do get quite a lot of business that comes through there and the location anyway is less than a mile off the interstate. Anyway, the food was excellent and the sweet tea was filling. The overall experience was just a relaxing soothing enjoyable experience for me, but I can't speak for my neighbor Jerry, though. And I truly liked the day. The iced tea may have been too sweet, and we all have different preferences in the things we like, but, borderline diabetes drinks right there. Haha, 😄 Nah, just having some fun. The server we had was adorable in the way she presented herself, starting the experience enjoyable and more comfortable. So, kudos to our waitress, in customer relations. The only thing I didn't get, was any pictures of my experience there, so, I'm sorry that I didn't. But, I've been preoccupied with some thoughts, we all do, just part of life. I ordered a nine-piece, I believe it was, butterfly, coconut batter shrimp, w/baked potato and a salad, sweet tea. Jerry, my neighbor, ordered Alaskan King-Crab legs, (market value price,) but a bit pricey, ”truly understandable to the reason why, right now, with the inflation cost ever so high,” and a baked potato, and I'm not sure what his other side dish was and a sweet tea. From a company's point of view, with the pandemic still waving, uncertainties of the economies across the US, and the inflation cost still rising, it still is a good amount of profits being made. There were biscuits on the table and I didn't even see her bring them. They were quite delicious too. So, the company that invited me to lunch, the meal, the atmosphere, and the occasion, were worth their weight in gold. And mostly thank you too, Jerry, my neighbor, I had a great blessed afternoon and a Father's Day. God Bless your heart. And those, reading this review, God Bless you, too!

I'm not sure if it's just the world we live in these days, but it seems like service is so-so everywhere now. Took my mom for her bday today and had to ask 3 times for more biscuits. With a party of 5, I would have brought 2 baskets from the beginning. Our 7 y/o niece was irritated with the wait. I had the shrimp trio with a side of snow crab. The shrimp was tough and a little rubbery in the pasta and scampi and the batter on the fried shrimp wasn't cooked all the way. The pasta was in clumps and kind of dried out around the edges. The crab legs were small and not very meaty for the additional $13. When the server finally brought a refill of tea, he only brought one when my mom and I were both out, so I waited for him to bring mine for a good 5 minutes. Soup, salad and appetizers are awesome though. I think I will stick with those next time. 😏
