Super slow with only one staff member. Too much for one person to handle at that time of day. Wait is unnecessarily long. Otherwise no complaints. However, when I was finally served the staff member was swift and courteous. The bikes are in good shape.

Great and hard working staff. We were there on a holiday weekend and there was only one person working and he REALLY was working to take care of all the customers. We were really impressed with the effort. Great pop place to get a bike or other items

Ray's has excellent customer service and great prices. I am here temporarily and I am new to surfing. The staff gave me a lot of nice tips and showed me some good spots to surf at. They were also very fast at making reservations and getting me the gear that I needed (note: you should plan ahead and call to make reservations if possible or go in to make reservations as it does get fairly busy around noon). I plan on coming back and doing business with them in the future. Thanks!

UPDATE!! They have ped-go electric bikes now! SO FUN! I didn't get tired all day and it was great for checking out the entire board walk! This is the best bike/surf/outdoor stuff rental in San Diego! I just go back from a short weekend trip in SD and visited them twice. They have two conventient locations near the beach, and I heard a new one opening in Newport Beach soon. The prices are unbeatable! and you can find even better prices if you look for a coupon online, but really you don't even need the coupon. Everything is at a great price, from bikes, to boards, they have it all (surf, boogie, paddle etc). The staff is super helpful and nice, and if they're not busy they will help you carry your stuff out to bay (depending on the location you visit). The service is unbeatable, almost as good as the low prices. be sure to stop by while in SD for an awesome outdoor experience. you wont regret it! PS the owner and his wife are super nice, I love supporting family owned small businesses...

If you GPS search Mission beach parking or another Mission BLVD parking (which is where I have parked a couple of times) it's a simple walk to the store. No more than 5 mins.
Yes you can rent for days or a week 25 a day Weekly rate is cheaper but not sure of cost
