I wouldn't recommend this hotel for women traveling solo. In the middle of the first night of my stay, a man tried to bust in through the chain. I put the room under my name and checked in at the desk alone, but my husband was with me. We were both in a deep sleep from traveling and woke up to the sound of this guy hitting the door repeatedly. The TV was on and I have a hard time believing the person didn't notice the room was occupied, considering the chain being locked and the room not being dark. I was the only one sleeping in view of the door. My husband came around from his side of the bed and slammed the door back against the guy with all his weight, which made him stop. He said he got a key for the room from the desk and left. One of the employees at the front desk tried to tell my husband it was just housekeeping, which aligns with similar scary stories from different hotels. Really creepy and slightly traumatizing. Won't stay again.

The first room didn't have cold air coming out of the a/c and the fridge was unplugged and a light didn't work. We were able to quickly and easily switch rooms and the second was much better. Clean sheets, new looking mattresses, no bugs, working lights, cold a/c, cold fridge, nice hot water. The floors weren't the cleanest, we had to keep shoes on. Breakfast was grab and go muffins and cereal as stated when we booked the room.

The room was disgusting, nothing was clean and we checked in late and went to bed immediately and our stay lasted about 1 1/2 hours because we got bit so bad by bed bugs! We had to change hotels at 1:00a.m. And to make it worse when I came to the front desk to get a refund and tell the lady what happened and why we needed to leave she smirked like it was nothing! Didn’t offer to try to accommodate anything for us due to the bed bug bites! The sheets were dirty the bathroom had hair in the tub and wallpaper peeling off the electrical was shorting out and everything metal was rusted!

Positive: It was cheap, no clerk at desk upon check in, had to call them via cellphone and wait for them to show up, room key was deactivated the next morning and new keys had to be programmed. Worst stay ever, the hotel should be shut down Negative: The rooms were dirty, no water pressure, wallpaper peeling off the walls, no maid service during entire stay no phones in room extremely noisy a/c, rusty iron and collapsing ironing board, no sheers over windows, light switches not working,
