Traditionally Modern Food
We visited the museum on Friday morning π Museum had ample parking spots but need to pay for parking π no queue to buy entry tickets πIt takes around 2 to 2:30 hours to see the Four floors of cars exhibits, my 8-year-old enjoyed seeing the cars. Clean museum π racing simulators and a slot car track for additional free. The staffs here are so friendly πFood court didn't have many vegetarian options. The grilled cheese was good but the veggie sandwich was cold and not so good

Cool place. Worth the price of admission. I took my 5 year old. He makes so many cars because he has watched the Cars movies. Just about every car in that movie is found here. You go up and down ramps in the middle of the building and see cars throughout all of history. Thereβs a spot to color a picture of your own car as well as a pinewood derby track at the bottom. One of the other fun exhibits was half of a for mustang that you could turn the wheel. The kids loved it.

I took my boyfriend for his birthday present because he loves cars and history. It was a great experience! There was even a guy walking around giving random trivia which we really appreciate! I wish I caught his name. We brought our little baby but there was a fantastic kid area that I can't wait to show her when she's older!

Visited there for the first time and had a good experience. A really nice car collection. Four floors of exhibits, which include racing simulators and a slot car track. These cost a nominal extra fee though. A volunteer came along with us for the first two levels and provided some interesting background on the cars. Parking is an additional cost, but is close. Very clean facility. Will go back again at some point, as the collection changes.

It's all a big ramp. All 4 stories of it. And yes, elevators for the way up!

They reserve a portion of the lot for the museum

We have a membership for our family with a 3 and 1 year old, so yes. They have a cute kids area on the bottom floor.
If you go to their eebsite, they have a schedule of events.
It's directly next to the Tacoma Dome, on the south side, they share parking lots.
Adults: $18 Parking, $5.00 for up to three hours, or after 5:00pm $10.00 for up to six hours
Groupon usually has restrictions listed. If not, call the museum and ask. They're really knowledgeable!
As long as you don't set up a tripod
No tripods are not Allowed, I'm a photographer and that's the first thing i asked while there
American drive-in/comfort food. So it's not expensive, but it costs more than going to the drive-in!
We received ours while we were still there....
Yes, photos are allowed as long as you stay behind the barriers.
You should try the race simulators when you are there
They have the ramps and access to wheelchairs but, no wheelchairs. I'm sorry.
No, but carried it with me ,have been asked at local restaurants.
Sorry, I'm not sure
I payed for the Glass and Chrome bundle which includes LeMay's and The Museum of Glass for $27. I believe the adult ticket for LeMay's is $18, plus parking. You can get the bundle and take the Link for free down to the other museums and leave your car there
For the drive-in movie, you park on the Show Field, next to the ACM building.
That im aware of. Its a private collection for public view only..
18 dollars
Yes they are.
Yes you can. Visit: https://instantcardonation.org/washington/tacoma/lemay-americas-car-museum
That should be answered, by going on line,or call .
1. As Vitaly said, you do not need to purchase tickets in advance. If you like motion simulators, I would highly recommend the Day at the Museum package. Saves you at least $6 instead of buying a ticket down in the simulator area. 2. The museum parking lot usually costs $5, but can fluctuate a bit depending on events in the area. If you have a dome parking pass, you can park in the Dome's A Lot at no charge, but this also varies with events. The Tacoma Dome transit station is nearby, so you could park for free there and take the 5 minute walk up to the museum. 3. Most tickets can be redeemed at anytime, but look carefully at the ticket you choose/have as they may have an expiration date. Hope this helps!

Worth checking out.seen cars at orignal place years an new place even better.
we were there about 2 wks ago, & the featured marque was bmw, especially the sedan racers. there was one bug, but no royales or tipos. k-es aren't historic at this point in time, so unless a private collector wants to lend one for display, not likelt to see one. no gumpers or paganis either. most of the cars are american, but sadly very few muscle cars; a split-window coupe and a goat. no classic MoPars from the golden era ('64 to '71), and no hot FoMoCos from the same era either (Talledegas, Cyclones, etc.), not even a GT350. for performance cars, try the motorsport museum just south of wilsonville on the 5.
