Went to pick up my rental today and was told my insurance set up a compact car. I told him that was incorrect that the car should be comparable to my 2017 Outback. He did not offer to contact the insurance company; offered no assistance to remedy the problem. When I contacted State Farm claims department, she said they should have been called byEnterprise when I told them about the problem. Very, very unhappy....the car is so low I will have a very hard time getting my 93 year old Mom in the car and I will probably have it for a week.

I have always had great dealing with this location and have been very happy with their cars and their personal. I use them two to three times a year for the last several years and will continue to do so.

this is personal shout out to an employee Katy Wood at this Enterprise location. Always greets with a smile, always courteous and understanding. Always dressed neatly- showing she is serious about her work which is rare this days. she makes paperwork process easy and fast(really great for people on the go). the only negative for this location is usually lack of car selection.

I had a flat tire Memorial Day weekend and when the tow truck company that I called wasnt experienced at all and ended up messing my back bumper on my car so they agreed to get my car fixed and will put me into a rental. I called and set up a reservation on Tuesday after work. I spoke with a very nice guy over the phone and he asked me what kind of car was I turning into the shop so that he could give me something comparable. We set up everything and I arrived at the store later that day to pick up the vehicle. They told me that my debit card will only be charged a $1 for security of the vehicle but once they asked for my ID and saw that I had out of state licenses they told me it would be $50. After I was disappointed about that situation, they informed that the only 3 vehicles I had to choose from was a Jeep Patriot, a mini van, and a Dodge Challenger. I ask them why wasnt I am to get one of the Nissa Altima's that was on the lot and they informed me that Nissan had a recall on those vehicles but I could come back tomorrow and get something more suitable. I disguised agree to take the Jeep Patriot because it was only for one day. I called appox. 5 times Wednesday through out the day and no answer. I went by the store after work to exchange the vehicle like I was promised..once again I was told they didnt have anything. I called every day,a total of 2 weeks today, and it was no answer or told they didn't have anything. I am very disappointed in Enterprise in Smithfield. I will never rent a vehicle from them ever again and I will not refer any friends or family to this location. I wasnt use to driving a small SUV when I owned a 2016 Chevy Malibu with ecofuel. I drive back and forth to work everyday and I just wanted something more over a gas saver. The amount of money I spent on gas the last weeks would have kept my car full for the whole month. It was definitely a lesson learned...NO MORE ENTERPRISE IN SMITHFIELD,VA
