Update: I just had to revisit, because one of the prongs on the plug became loose and smoke was coming out! The service was as excellent as I remembered. I called first, and David, who answered, identified the problem right away. I brought it in, and the problem was fixed in ~20 minutes. They are a lifesaver! ======================================================= In 2018, over one weekend, the switch on my Shark Navigator went bad and would not work. I was not happy as it was relatively new, and I didn't want to shop for a new one in a hurry. And the Shark support page was less than helpful. On a chance, I searched for repairs on Yelp and came across Everett Vacuum. What a lifesaver! After I dropped it off, David gave me a call to explain the issues and walk me through some options. He made sure to order the closest match - Shark doesn't sell replacement switches - so I wouldn't lose any of the functionalities. Both gentlemen were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They are an awesome local business!

I was very happy with my experience with Everett Vacuum. My Kenmore has been out of production for a while; however, they were able to find replacement PW boards and my unit works like new. They're very knowledgeable and experienced and I recommend giving them a try before going out to buy new.

Hello Ardis, I stock very few parts for Roomba models and limit our repairs to basic services. We can help you get common parts like batteries, brushes and filters. For electronic components (which is the majority of the unit) I would contact Roomba directly. Thank you for the inquiry and kind recommendations from Island Vacuum. Outside of Roomba and a couple minor exceptions that restrict parts distribution, we service nearly all major brands.
Hi Joe, Royal brand has a carpet shampooer and hard surface floor cleaner, the FR50152, that has great pet hair removing and furniture cleaning attachments. As far as a vacuum cleaner that also shampoos... nothing reliable has yet been made. SEBO brand however has their Automatic X4 & Felix/Dart models of upright vacuum cleaners. These are all German made, excellent on pet hair, portable for furniture cleaning. While these don't "shampoo" per se, they can be used for dry cleaning carpets, spots and furniture by using SEBO DuoP or Host Dry Cleaning product. Dry cleaning is great because it leaves the carpets dry and doesn't use soaps that will attract more dirt and grime after the jobs done. Drop by and see them in person next time you have the chance.
