While the physical property is convenient and well maintained, the "free breakfast" amenity is problematic. The staff member administering the service either wore no mask or the mask below her nose. Guests and other staff consistently followed guidelines, but the food handler did not. She was also observed doing housekeeping (mopping and sweeping) in the lobby area and returning to serve, heat and handle food without washing or sanitizing her hands. Although the observations were reported to the desk, the unsanitary behavior continued. She needs to be provided food service training or to be moved to other responsibilities.

This hotel needs work. If you like the smell of dirty feet from old carpet in room, paper thin walls, a worn old skinny mattress, and scratchy thin sheets this is the place for you. I expect more from a hotel with the Hampton name on it. Also, this hotel is not cheap. Update, so the housekeeping staff is responsible for quality of mattresses, and sheets? And replacing ridiculously old smelly carpet?

Good basic hotel EXCEPT they do not recycle. If recycling your waste is important to you then you will have to take it home!

Everything was fine. Standard hotel. But one things that’s bugging me is that no one on here talked about the banging, bumping and grumbling that goes on 24/7. I have no idea what causes it, but if you are a light sleeper like me just be aware of that. Bring your headphones and ear plugs.
