Positive: Parking lot wasn't crowded. Negative: It looked cheap. The wallpaper was stapled up, there weren't enough towels, and the walls are really thin. Not including a random small square was plugged into the television with no actual purpose (I unplugged it)

The customer service was terrible. I can't imagine that I have to leave a comment on google to tell everyone that DO NOT BOOK THIS HOSTEL!! I made a reservation and stayed in this hostel from 15 April to 16 April 2022. When I arrived, the front desk staff told me that my room was downgraded due to their overbooking and there would be a refund after 3-5 days of my stay. However, I have been sending emails to follow up on the refund, and I still got NOTHING today, even not simply a reply to my email. It has been almost three months! I am really frustrated and shocked that a company can ignore the customers, and I feel like being cheated. It is not reasonable for a company that it just ignores the customers for three months without any reply! I hope the customer service staff of the hostel can explain and follow up on my experience as soon as possible!

I booked this stay not expecting a terrific experience. I needed a cheap place close to the airport with a shuttle. It was a quick mandatory trip on a budget. I was disappointed when I arrived at the airport to learn that there is no shuttle service. They discontinued it, yet the website still advertises it. I spoke with the desk attendant, Sabrina and she helped me find a local taxi service that could get me quickly and inexpensively. When I arrived at the hotel, Sabrina was at the desk and could not be more friendly or welcoming. I read reviews about dirty rooms and damages. After spending a few days there, I wonder if the place is under management? I overheard the cleaning crew talking with each other several times about how proud they are of their work, and double checking each other. It seems that there may have been some improved training going on. Also, I did see some areas in my room that were repaired (caulk, paint). It was not perfect, but an attempt was made. I did not have the breakfast so I can not speak to that, however the coffee was delicious. All in all, it seems that management is trying to improve the state of the hotel to bring it up to La Quinta standards and expectations of guests. My only complaint is the prominent smell of marijuana. Not sure how that can be addressed, but maybe take a look at that.

Staff is very friendly but the place is okay. No hot water to shower in the evening and in the morning. Breakfast was okay…basic microwaved eggs and sausage. If your just passing through and don’t want to stay at a cockroach hotel this is a good alternative and they are pet friendly.
