I am 34 years old and deathly afraid of the dentist. What’s worse is thanks to medications used to manage my various illnesses, all of my teeth need to be removed. Yesterday I went to have my first set of 8 upper teeth extracted. I somehow had no anxiety! The shots hurt but after that I didn’t even feel any pressure or pulling! And what’s best is Dr. Joly had 8 teeth out and had me cleaned up in less than 30 minutes! He also worked with me by giving me a discount on immediate dentures so that I won’t have to be without for long. Oh and I have yet to feel any pain. I took Tylenol otc last night before bed but didn’t even need it. Today just cold compress and salt water rinse, no need for medication. To me this is unheard of!
