Nice store. Huge and clean. But product placement isn't intuitive. They had bagged popcorn in a whole isle separate from the bags of chips. I didn't understand that. I had to ask employees where they were. Employees were helpful and friendly.

Good selection of produce, meats, and usually well stocked without staff blocking the aisles re-stocking constantly. A little pricy on some stuff, but that's most places now. Like the app much better since they've re-done it, much easier to navigate.

Saw the managaer, A grown man, flirting woth his young female employees on several occasions. I hope these young ladies' fathers find out. All while the older ladies were tied to the registers doing all the work. On another occasion i was in the express line when the cashier informed a guy a few places ahead of me it was 15 or less. He had more like 30 things cradled in his arms, hands, and on the edge of the belt. The guy got mad and started cussing the lady cashier. He then began to cuss out another woman in front of him who was in agreement with the cashier. The manager came over. Pulled the cashier off. And proceeded to tell the man he was right. The cashier was fired the next day. Bought a fresh apple pie on one occasion that tasted like pure lemons. They would not refund the cost. Had hair in fresh baked bread on another occasion. That was the last time buying fresh from them. Prices are very high in comparison to other local grocery stores. As well. I wont shop here again. Food lion has a much more friendly staff and the owner isnt patrolling the store while racial profiling, like this safeway.

Very pleased with their bakery and deli. Bakery did an excellent job with custom made sheet cake. Deli made me a small party meat/cheese platter. Both pleasing to the eye and delicious.
