The product is fine, but dealing with Linda Derth in the Portland office was a nightmare. She is a VERY poor communicator about anything having to do with the product. The fact that she is employed by AS&D makes me believe the company is out of touch with the customer. I will be going a different direction to finish my project. Definitely not worth the hassle.

Our lead times depend on the product and if its a residential or commercial project. For residential, its about 7-10 days while commercial projects depend on the size and scope of the project, site-specific engineering requirements, and the architect's approval.
Yes, the majority of our products are installed in exterior applications, but lots of our customers use our beautiful products inside homes and businesses.
Yes! In addition to aluminum and steel, we work very well with wood and composite materials such as cedar, Sunwood, Trex, TimberTech, and Azek.
Yes! All of our products are designed to the current national building codes. All commercial systems require site-specific engineering.

We do not install, but we have a list of experienced contractors who have worked with our products.
We only sell to contractors, dealers, distributors, and wholesalers in the residential and commercial construction industries. We do have a list of approved contractors that have experience installing our products. Give us a call and we can help you find the best installer for your home project.
In general, we outsource custom welded railing to other fabricators. However, we do some custom welded rail in-house. Call us and we'll work with you on a quote.
