Never rent from here ever! Businesses with NO customer service deserve NO customers. Just a smile would be nice or maybe offering upgrades to the rental package... but the only thing you will receive from this Hurtz is the keys to a dirty car and bad start to your trip.

Hertz Corporate call center representatives and local Hertz offices need to communicate so when a customer is booking a vehicle there is accurate information given as opposed to saying whatever is necessary to make a sale then hope for the best. The in store representative was cool, calm and collected in the face of the error and I can only hope this becomes a teaching moment for the company on communication importance. My question at this point is how will it be made right? No real solutions were offered and had to rebook the vehicle initially promised at a higher price which is absolute garbage.

NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCE!! Hertz completely ruined my family vacation from here to AZ to see my wife's 83 yr old grandfather I'm deteriorating health and 1 year old brother who flew in from Alaska with her aunt. We arrived Friday to pick up the car 30 min before close because of work and we could not leave early. My card is saved in my phone and that us how I use it, it's 2022 many ppl do. They would not let me even check in for the reservation and take the card with me having it. And would not let use switch to my wife's card on the sane account. We live 45 min away from lees summit. The lady at the desk was completely blank and unapologetic at all. So this morning we woke up early loaded 1 of our trucks and went up to get it. I was stopped mid process because I was hit with another $500 deposit and a soft credit check, in no way do I understand why I credit check would be needed for a card I bought insurance plan for then and covered by my own insurance also would ne needed. Obviously by my rating I did not get the car. Gas prices have raised and adding 500 onto a cross country trip is big. My credit is Slightly down due to student loans like a majority of ppl and was denied. This process could have been avoided 4 weeks ago when i booked and paid $600 to them.The now manager behind the counter could not care less. With my crying wife, 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son. We left and had to get ice cream just to stop the crying. A month long period and 2 trips to the office just to cancel my vacation and have to call a number for 40 min just to get my money back from them. I do not get my money back from the Air BnBs I booked no vacation a d out $650 more. Complete lack of customer service and communication. I would fly but my 3 year old son is Austistic and cannot wear a mask for 4 hours. Things happen for a reason I guess

Misquoted a weekly rate of 179 + 200 deposit and arrived to find that was the daily rate. The office was packed (end of the day waiting for almost 40 mins. and past the office closing hours) with people and one person was doing there best to handle the crowd. I drove the vehicle to my home approx. 2 miles away and drove it back immediately. I had the car in my possession less than an hour. They charged my card 144.00 and now won't answer my calls. HORRIBLE!!
